eHouse Home Automation system – working demo of smart home with visualization and graphical control from Web browser
eHouse Smart Home – Running demo of eHouse 1 version (RS-485) built on the basis of evaluation/demonstration unit.
eHouse 1 working under the supervision of the Raspberry Pi microcomputer board (Linux Raspberian ) .
Configuration and connection module demo was discussed in the previous articles.
eHouse system is connected via the USB/RS-232 and RS-232/RS-485 adapter. The eHouse system software is implemented using eHouse4cServer software, which implements all the communication processes with eHouse controllers in any version.
In addition, Apache Web Server is installed with “eHouse4Apache.so” module assuring software integration of eHouse4cServer with Web browsers.
At the same time provides a comprehensive secure access for any installed Apache modules such as: SSL , certificates , user permissions .
Demo is not protected against access from the outside to allow everyone free access and control via the Internet.
Statuses of eHouse home automation controllers are updated approximately every 20sec in order to minimize network traffic.
