eHouse.PRO Intelligent Building – DIY 1
Smart Home | intelligent Building eHouse.PRO.
A professional building automation system with the ability to self-assemble without any compromises pose a risk of damage , electric shock , fire , etc..
The system installed in the large central switching microprocessor controllers , accessories , relays without any electronics building automation in the walls and outside the switchboard,
making the system much easier to service much more resistant to damage.

The next step is to connect the Input/Output modules and expanders relay outputs so kindly maximum low voltage installation .
The entire installation of low voltage is necessary to fasten three screws (power supply +12V ) . There is also no need to solder anything .
The strips connected to IDC-50 and IDC-40 with clenched IDC connectors .
The digital inputs are connected to 128 intelligent Inputs module of eHouse.PRO with tape IDC-50 to expander inputs which “control unit” with RJ-12 6-pin telephone connector, which is connected to switches, alarm sensors, digital, etc.. Connectors RJ-12 is clamped to the telephone wires like telephone switchboard.
This allows you to remove them , insert commute without the need for loosening and tightening screws , easy start system and service.
They contain several terminals depending on how we intend to use the data input:
- 1) + 12V – power alarm sensors possibly backlight switches , etc.
- 2 ) 0V – GND – Ground system – power
- 3 , 4) TAMPER – sabotage for alarm sensors – connected in series for all the connectors
- 5 ) Digital input (sensor or switch ) – closes it to the ground – to pin 6)
- 6 ) 0V – GND for sensor or switch
Expander is discussed in more detail the way it is connected to the inputs CommManager : Smart House eHouse Connection expander inputs Expander contains 48 input expanders so the amount depends on the number of inputs which we intend to capitalize on RJ-12 .
Tapes flat IDC-50 can be connected to both the top and bottom of the expander , However, the assembly of the bottom does not interfere with the assembly / disassembly RJ-12 .
IDC-50 flat cable length is not critical and can count as 10m .
Expander has 3 slots IDC-50 to 128 inputs on/off .
Flat cable can be placed at an angle of 45 degrees so that it remains flat . Should not be particularly hard push such kinks not to damage the insulation or wires . Wires should be performed in a dedicated switchboard box the cables have the correct length without excessive loop .
In the event that we need more than 128 inputs can be connected 2 smart module 128 inputs and another expanders connected to it in the same way. Connecting the second implies a need to set the jumpers on the module of intelligent inputs ( SPI 0) .
eHouse.PRO modules ( Server , Inputs , Output ) connects to the tape IDC-40 by inserting the connector from the top or bottom, depending on convenience, However, similarly to the case expander assembly from the bottom does not interfere with the tapes IDC-50 for the expander and relay modules . It also allows the installation of a set of eHouse.PRO (server , input Module , output ) one above the other, so that the length of the IDC-40 communication cables can be significantly reduced, which is very critical and should not exceed 50-60cm , that it goes fast serial buses between modules eHouse.PRO .
In order not to complicate the picture until the last minute will not make IDC-40 connection between segments eHouse.PRO as the professional distribution of these cables interfere with their length:
Most preferably placed one above the other modules using two 5 cm strip IDC-40 , after connecting all the tapes IDC-50 . It is also necessary security modules against possible movement spacers and terminal strip.
